One day last week some visitors at Stanwell Park, near Sydney, were startled by a loud crash in the range above them, and looking up they were horrified to see a motor buggy toppling xover an embankment at a point about half a mile from the top of Bald. Hill. The car dashed down the precipice, which in places is almost perpendicular, and when finally it was stopped by a good-sized tree the remains consisted of the "wheels and part of the engine. Fortunately the two occupants had jumped from the motor before it reached the corner where it left the road. Something had evidently gone wrong with the steering gear. The occupants were picked up shortly after the accident by a motor car and were taken to their destination. A visit to the scene showed parts of the vehicle scattered about every few yards from where it left the road, until the wreckage was brought, up against a tree about 50 feet down the cliff side.
