[from our correspondent.]-;

Wednesday. Last night, at the residence of Mrs Buckman, a Tennis Club meeting was held, the business being principally in connection with the late social, which was a decided success. The committee investigated the accounts and passed them for payment, and are pleased to report that a surplus of £6 8s 3d remains in hand, which, together with previous savings, will be devoted to levelling and making a new tennis court.
