THE GORLITZ-KUBELIK CASE

DUNEDIN, Sept. 15. In the Supreme Court, before Mr Justice Williams and a jury of twelve, Hugo Gorlitz sued Jan Kuhelik for £3000 damages. The claim alleges that between 1901 and 1906 plaintiff acted as musical agent for Kubelik in Great Britain and the United States, and during the tour plaintiff entered into a contract witk defifendant to undertake a tour1 of Australia and New Zealand. Kubelik on completion of the American tour refused to carry out his contract.

The defence is a denial of the alleged contract.
