Lemieux, the Canadian Postmaster-General, has started foi* England to attend a conference of representatives of Imperial and Colonial Government cable companies, summoned, at Mr Henniker-Heaton's suggestion, to discuss a penny-a-word cable rate for the Empire. Mr Lemieux is empowered to support the movement to the utmost.
