The usual Band of Hope meeting was held last night in the Methodist Church, when a very pleasing programme was gone through. The training' ship Amokura will anchor to-morrow off Moetapu, and will remain until Monday. On Sunday, at St. Peter's Church, there will be a parade of the boys from the training ship at 11 a.m. The regatta ball has been indefinitely postponed. Mr Roland Powell, who for some years past has been with Mr Turrell, dentist, of _ Wellington, is now in charge of his father's practice.
