Sir, —You kindly allowed me som© time ago to ask for help for the children's sale or work for Dr. Barnardo's Homes. May I now beg for space to remind all interested that the sale will take place on Thursday next? There is still opportunity tor those who have not been able to sew to give valuable asistance by contributing cakes, sweets, produce of any kind, and flowers or planes. These can be taken on Thursday morning to the- Orange Hall. The sale of work will open in the afternoon and continue during the early part of the evening, after which there will bo an entertainment which has been arranged by Mr Quart! v. Particulars will be found in yoiir advertising colums.—Yours, etc.,
