[from otic correspondent.] CHRISTCHURCH, June 25. The minority reports from the Canterbury Conciliation Board regarding, the farm labourers' dispute were made available to the newspapers this- afterBoth dissent from the finding of the majority of the Board, for the reasons specified : (1) The employers objected that the evidence showed that, ■there had'liever .been any'real.dispute' between the ' farmers. and genuine labourers; (2)' Until a 'fear men enu? ployed in t'nades in the city visited <■ the farming, centres for the purpose of ' organising the ', farm • labourers, no trouble' of any consequence, between ma&ters and men had arisen; (3), The weight of evidence was against the wisdom -or necessity of making an award applicable to the farming industry. . , >'The workers' representatives objections are mostly, on the question of wages, but include- also the questions of-holidays^, wages and conditions of married couples,^ threshers' contract -work, milking ' and preference to » unionists/ [The majority /report has not yet been communicated.]
