WELDS HILL SALE.
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report that the clearing sale at Weld s Hill on Thursday, and concluding yesterday, was well attended by visitors fri>m all parts of the Dominion, about 300 in all being present. The weather was perfect, and the manager had made every arrangement for the comfort of Visitors. The large wool shed was used for sleeping apartments, and the catering and refreshments left nothing wanting. ■ Several of those attending inspected the country with a. view to purchasing. The sheep were offered on Thursday, 13,000 in all. The were not very keenly competed for, but the horses, which were a splendid lot, were eagerly sought after, and realised the best prices for the season.
