Aborigine rushed to the front after a furlong had been traversed, and was never afterwards headed, winning by a length' and a half. Timej Imm 16 4-sth sec.

Easter Handicap.—Gold Crest 1, Veronica 2, Dawn •3. Scratched : Golden Eagle. Soultline led to the distance, where Gold Crest took charge, and stalling off a strong run by Veronica, won by threequarters of a length. Time, Imm 40 sec.
