FPEESS ASSOCIATION.] f BRISBANE, April 19. The final inter-State cricket match o? the season, Queensland v. New South Wales, was commenced to-day. The Queensland team in their first innings made 258. Hartigan (58) and Hayes (98) were the chief scorers. The New South Wales team have lost two wickets for 65. Carter (not out) 35 was the principal scorer. BRISBANE, April 20.
New South Wales in their first innings made 195—Carter 69, Bardsley 24, Barnes 20/ \ Queensland in their second inn have lost 4 wickets for 120—Redgrave 44.
