NEW ORIENT STEAMERS.
FOR THE AUSTRALIAN TRADE
[press association.] LONDON, April 17. The keels of the Orient Company's 12,000-ton mail steamers entrusted to the Fairfield Company and. John Brown and Co., Clydebank, have been oompleted. The keel of the steamer being built by the London and Glasgow Engineering Company, of Govan, is well advanced. Workman, Clark and Co., Belfast, have no slip available at present, but are collecting material.
