Newtown came through without a loss. In the morning Newtown defeated Picton by 85.t0 35.; Following are the scores:—Newtown (Ramsay's rink) 23, Picton—-Greensill', Perano, L. Smith and Vickers (skip)—B; Newtown (Warren's rink) 27, Picton— Martin, Blizzard, Madsen and Nicol (skip)—lß; Newtown (Howarth's rink) 35, Picton—G. Smith, Philpotts, Chambers and Pugh (skip)— 9. Maitai defeated Nelson by 82 to 78: Newtown defeated Nelson by 91 to 62.
Maitai defeated Picton by 78 to 38. Maitai (Calder's rink) 24, Picton (Pugn's rink) 12; Nelson (Hockey's rink) 26, Picton (Nieol's rink) 12; Nelson (Dee's rink) 28, Picton (Vickers's.rink) 14
