Rifleman Arthur Ballinger, who won tne rifle championship at the Trentham meeting, and his brother William, an ex-champion, are to be banqueted m the Bellevue Gardens tonight. The Minister for Defence Colonel Collins, and members of the Legislature will be present Having won the belt thrice, it becomes the property of Mr Arthur Ballinger, but he has generously presented the trophy to the Defence Forces Rifle Association for competition at future gatherings audit will as heretofore go with the championship.
