LONDON, Jan. 7. The Times states that public opinion in Japjin is becoming quieter. It is not believed that the San Francisco difficulty is sufficient-to disturb the traditional friendship with the United States.
Japan's foreign trade in 1906 amounted to £84,000,000. The exports exceeded the imports.
