INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION.
POSITION OF MARLBOROUGH ; COURT. Mr Thos. Orr, Secretary to the local Advisory Committee, International v Exhibition, has received the following memo, from Mr C. D. Mclntyre, travelling Commissioner:— - " " Herewith please find plan showing the position of the Marlborough Court. You will find it, a very excellent posi-; . tion, as it faces the main corridor, and immediately adjoins the Nelson and Napier courts. The length is 63 feet., the breadth 32 feet, and the height 12. feet. I might mention that the .height • of the stud is 16 feet> but we prefer exhibitors not to exceed 12 feet. Trusting your Committee will be pleas- ; ed with the site, which J. have personally chosen, as I consider it the Ibest in. , the block." ; v The enclosed plan indicates that the Marlborough Court will be adjacent to the tea-room block,, the Fiji Court j, and the Tourist Departments space. These three sections Ihave frontages on . the left of the main entrance, which merges into a long corridor 27 feet in width. The Marlborough space, con-. taining 2016, square feet, is the. next one to the tea-rooms after turning to . the left along this corridor. It has three frontages, similarly to the Nel-- ' son court. In fact, Marlborough.and the sister province equally share a rectangular block. From appearances,, the Marlborough court should be one ■ of the first of the provincial spacer ... Avhich unguided visitors will be likely t to notice. ' ■ ■' '
