LOCAL HORSES.OFFERED BY AUCTION. Before the close of the South Wairarapa Trotting Club's meeting on June 4, Mr E. V. Hoaly submitted the local horses Bogey and Dick Fly to public,auction. Bogey was first offered, and bidding started at £50, and after keen competition was passed in at £78, Dick. Fly, the 3-year-old Dictator gelding, who is gifted with a lot of pace, aiid who is. a born pacer, was started at.loo guineas, and quickly ran up to 180 guineas, at which price he was passed in, not reaching the owner's reserve.
