WELLINGTON WEDNESDAY
ASSOCIATION v. MARLBOROUGH
A WIN FOR THE VISITORS
The above match, which was commenced on Good Friday, was concluded on Saturday afternoon. Marlborough, with a lead of 32 in the first innings, in their second venture made 104, Atkinson 26 and Bottrell 25 being the top scorers. This left the Wellington team 136 to get to win, a task which they accomplished for the loss of seven wickets, thus winning the match by three wickets. The match was played in the best of sportsmanlike spirit, and there is talk of making the event an annual fixture. On Saturday afternoon Mrs R. F.
