Perfect weather was experienced at Nelson by the bowlers representing the Blenheim, Wellington, Newtown, Nelson, and Maitai Clubs. The tournament extended over Friday, Saturday and Monday, and was played on the Nelson and Maitai greens. Blenheim defeated Newtown by 61 to 51; Nelson defeated- Blenheim by 57 to 49; Maitai turned the tables on Blenheim by 51 to 49; and Wellington Seated Blenheim by 83 to 48.
