AUCKLAND, March 14. The steamer Pelican has returned from Three Kings:after an unsuccessful search for the Eliugamite treasure. The weather was very rough, and only one descent was made by the diver to eleven fathoms. An accident to the apparatus occurred, and Mr Parkes, sen., had a narrow escape. The steamer came on to Auckland to get extra gear for the operations, and will ■leave again to-day to make a further attempt. .
