LINCOLN COLLEGE EGGLAYING CONTEST.

CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 27. The statement for the thirtieth week of tho New Zealand Utility Poultry Club's egg-laying competition at Lincoln College shows that during the week 649 eggs were laid, being an average of 17 per pen. The total to date is 19,395-eggs, or an average of ! 510.4 per pen. The highest totals for the week were: H. Hawke, Silver Wyandottes, 30; F. A. Rolliiison, American White Leghorns, 27; J. H. Shaw, Brown Leghorns, 26; J. Mann, AVlnte Wyandottes, 26; E. Scott, Brown Leghorns, 25; J. W. Hailiday, Minorcas. 25. The highest totals to date are :— H. Hawke, 814; J. Mann, 718; J. H. Shaw, 666; R. E. Evans, Silver Wyandottes, 631; Mrs Studholme, Anco'nas, 628; A. M. Price, Buff Orpingtons, 628; E. Wilder, Buff Orpingtons, 607; E. Scott, Brown Leghorns, 601; A. Tyree, Black Orpingtons, 597; A. H. Bristed, Buff Orpingtons, 590; F. A. Rolliuson, 579; R. S. Cox, Buff Orpingtons, 555; W. B. Cowlishaw, Black Orpingtons, 535; John Tindall, Silver Wyandottes, 527; J. J. Lloyds, Buff Leghorns, 526.
