BLOODSHED IN MACEDONIA.

Horrible details come from London regarding the massacre at Monastir, in European Turkey, by the Bashi Baeouks. After some attacks the night before, the bombardment of the town began on the morning of May 21 st. This proving ineffective, tie Turkish troops set the town on fire on all sides, and began a general killing of men, women and children. More than two hundred persons, mostly women and ohildren, were killed, and not a living soul was left in the village. It is said that fourteen hundred villagers fled to the mountains without food or clothes. The women were horribly maltreated.
