AN AUSTRALIAN TRAGEDY.

Press Association, Electric Telegraph, Copyright, Sydney, July 15. The dead bodies of a woman named Smith and her two children have been found near Windeyer, in the Mudgee district. She lived apart from her husband, who was a half-caste. The latter found the bodies, which were much decomposed.

Medical opinion is that the woman died in a fit. She was scantily clad. The children died suddenly from exposure. About the time when the deaths are supposed to have occurred the weather was bitterly cold, the thermometer registering twelve degrees below zero.
