RUSSIA'S GRIP ON CHINA.
Press Association. Electric Telegraph, Copyright. London, June 19. China has again refused the demand of Japan to open Mukden and Tatungkau to foreigu trade. Dr Morrison, Pek'n correspondent of The Times, asserts (hat this is evidence of Russia's grip on China. Even Chang-Chituug and Yuan-shi-kai oppose the opening oE new treaty ports in Mauohuria.
