THE LABOR QUESTION.
Press Association. Electric Telegraph, Copyright. Received May 24, 5 p.m. Capetown, May 23, The Chamber of Minos at Johannesburg discussed the native lator question. Sir Percy Fitzpatrick, President, said that if Government encroached on the present labor supply of the mines for the purposes of public works the importatioa of cheap colored labor somewhere would becotre necessary.
It was unanimously resolved to recommend the Government to imperil indentured coolies for the construction of the railways.
