The Greek currant monopoly has been completed. The English syndicate purchases the entire annual crop, estimated at a HO.OQO tens, at fixed prices, the growers also receiving fifty per cent, of the profit after a dividend of six per cent, has been paid. The Federated Grocers of the United Kingdom wired to the King of Greece a protest against the monopoly, which they intended to determinedly oppose*
