THE WAIRAU
[special to times.]
Wellington, August 14.
In regard to the Marlborough petition of R. M. Roberts and others residing on the Starborough Estate, Awatere, drawing attention to the proposed boundary between the Hurunui and Wairau electorates, and also praying that they be included in the Wairau electorate, the South Electoral Commissioners have included the petitioners in the Wairau electorate.
The amended boundaries suggested are on the south along the main roul from Lake Grassmere to the Flaxbuurne river, and thence along that river westward.
Very few alterations have been made in the whole of the colony. There are ab.mt a dozen altogether.
