Anxiety concerning the steamer Hafis, 75 days out from New York to Fremantle, is exhibited by those interested. The vessel should have reached Fremantle a fortnight ago, the average passage being 55 days. It has considerable cargo for New Zealand ports. The Hafis is a new steamer on its maiden voyage. It is owned in Germany, and is under charter to an American-Australian line.
