Anxiety is felt in the city, and is accentuated by the discovery of wreckage at Okavito, on the west coast of tho othei? Island, concerning the whereabouts of the barque G. M. Tucker. Tho vessel was out from Newcastle exactly one month on Saturday, laden with coal, and is under the command of Captain Oliver, who at one time was in the service o£ the Union Company.
Thc'G. M. Tucker is well known in tho Wellington harbor. It was the intention of- the owner to have sent her to Auckland after'this trip to be converted into a hulk1.
