The House of Commons; by 155 to 72, read a seQond time a Bill rendering the re-appointment to positions tinder the Crown unnecessary on the demise of the Crown.
A Bill was also read a second time permitting local authorities to construct crematoriums.
The quarterly revenue amounts to £53,748,719, including Custom dues £9,126,020, excise £10,508,000 and stamps £1,915,000.
