London, March 29. The Mayor of Capetown presented a thousand returning Australians and New Zealanders with souvenirs; He praised, the fine exploits of the troops at Bothavillc, where in November last they took a prominent part in inflicting a severe defeat on De Wet and captoring several guns.
The Mayor said lie hoped many of the colonials would return to South Africa. The men are taking to Australia a gun captured.at the Vet River.
