THE FIRST TEST MATCH, AUSTRALIANS ALL OUT FOB 287. [UNITHD PBEBB ASSOCIATION. I Sydney, December 15. The match was resumed to-day. The weather was fine and warm, and 12,000 were present. The Australians continued their first innings A fine stand by Trumble and MoLeod saved what at first appeared like a hopeless rout. Gregory who had been not out yesterday increased his score to 46, while Trumble knocked up 70 by stylish cricket, and McLeod, who had his hand bandaged, carried out his bat for a well played 50. None of the others did anything, and the innings closed at 3 30 for 237, or 314 behind the first innings of the visitors. Hearne was the most destructive bowler, securing 5 wickets for 42 runs.
