HORRIBLE CRUELTY.
» I CHARGES AGAINST WHITE MEN. fONITBD PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Received October 5, 11 a.m. Perth, October 5. An enquiry is proceeding into charges against two white men for alleged horrible cruelty to a number of absconding indentured natives. They were tied to a post and severely flogged, and afterwards compared to walk a long distance without water. Three died, and others are oovered with large festering wounds.
