The following are the results : Half-mile Flat Championship.— Campbell, Queensland, 1. McKean, N.Z., finished fourth. Time, 2min 2 4 -sth sec. Throwing tho Hammer. — Milward, N.8.W., 1 ; 96ft 6in. Pole Jump.— Erura, N.Z., 1 ; 10ft 6in. 220 Yards Flat Championship.— Rowley, N.8.W., 1. Holder, N.Z;, did not start. Time, 22 2-sth sec Three Mile Walking Champion-ship.—-Wilson, N.Z., won easily. Time, 22min 37 l-stn sec. 440 Yards Hurdle Championship. — Laidlaw, N.S.W., and Holder, N.Z., a dead heat. Time, 60 4.5 th sec. In the run off Holder won easily m 62sec. Three Mile Flat Championship.— Cummiogs, Victoria, 1. MoKean and Hawthorn, New Zealanders, gave up. Time, 15min 40 2-sth sec. Additional results are : — Long jump— Bevan, Victoria, 1 ; 21ft 4£in. None of the New Zealanders are prominent m the cycling events. New South Wales won the intercolonial teams relay match, one mile. The points m the championship are— New South Wales 6, New Zealand 4, Victoria 8, Queensland 2.
