THE FALL IN PRICE. [united pbesb association.] Received May 8, 10.40 a.m. London, May 7. At the wool sales medium Merinos are from par to 5 per cent below March rates ; faulty sorts from 7£ to 10 per cent; greasy cross-breds 6 per cent ; coarse, from par to 5 per cent. Jacomb, Son, and Co. report that the decline is probably due to purchases m the colonies being below London, and also bad trade m America.
