A SERIES OF CASUALTIES. Masterton, Septombßr 20. A serious aooident occurred on the road between Oarterton and Master^ ton yesterday afternoon. Mr R. F. Temple and family, of this town, were driving m a gig, when the horse shied and went over the Ride of a culvert. The whole of the occupants of the vehicle were thrown out, Mr Temple sustained a fracture of the leg and a severe cut; Mrs Temple a sprain of the hand; and a boy, aged four, a nasty bruise under the eye. Mr Ben Gave fell down w a fit m Queenstreet this morning, and sustained a nasty out on the head. A man named Gottis, of Maurice - villa, inflicted a fearful gash on his arm with a obiael yesterday, and had to come to Masterton for medical treatment.
