TWO MEN KILLED BY NATIVES. [UNITED PBESa ASSOCIATION.] Sydney, June 28. Yet another massacre has been committed at th<* Solomon Islands, the victims being Messrs D, Eerr and S. fcJmith, traders from Sydney. These men, on 12th April, left Ruibana m a cutter on a trip to the adjoining islands, and have not since been seen. The wreckage of their cutter has, however, been found m Blanche Channel, and the natives of the neighboring shores state that during a raid of headhunters from Rendova Island the two traders were met with and despatched, and the cutter was afterwards looted. Great activity is now being displayed among the Solomon Islanders m their favorite pastime of head hunting, and when the steamer Kelloe left the group a body of 200 men from Euibana was known to be engaged m a rail. Admiral Bridge v to be asked to take stern measures to stop the continual butchery.
