Walker proposed that the suggestion by Christohureh " That a monster petition be got up requesting Parliament to take an early plebiscite of the people respecting the importation, manufacture, and sale of alcoholic liquors, bt reoommended to the new Executive as a work desirable to be at once entered on."— Carritd. Tht suggestion from Ghristohorok that the Prohibition Leagues, Temperance, aad Friendly Societier,l.O.G.T., W.C.T.U., and Knights of Labour, should eaoh nominate members to the New Zealand Allianot Executive, has beea adopted, and the representation for the Prohibition League is to be one, aad for tht ethers ont.
