4 HAWKB'B BAY V. WELLINGTON. [OHITHD PBKBB ASSOCIATION.] Wblmhstoh, April 6. Tht orioket matob Wellington v. Hawke's Bay was resumed today, the visitors being defeated by 110 runs. Hawke's Bay gave a very poor display in their aoooad essay, the wieket falling a few minates before the oall of time for 62 runs. The bowling of Ashbolt and Upham was very effective, the former sseuring S wickets for 82 and the latter 4 for 20. Seven of the Hawke's Bay men were dismissed without scoring.
