« [united pbebs association.] Wellington, April 4. A man named Jas MaoLaren, residing at Ngakonui, near Martinborougb, died from the effeots of a ballet wound m his leg, caused it is believed through the accidental discharge of a carbine. Auckland, April 4. Mr O'Beirne. lately employed m the Government printing offioe, Wellington, died from the effects of phosphorus poisoning. Me suffered from insomnia.
