Financial affair are depressing the American wheat market, and despite the unfavorable crop, reports give a decreasing visible supply. There ie a drug m gold m Chicago, owing to quantities brought by visitors to the exhibition. Four hundred and sixty failures are reported m the United States m the week, against 95 last year, Four bank* m Lemar3, the oapital of Plymouth, lowa, hwe suspended. Thirty-three per cant of cotton mills m the Unitad States are closed owing to the depression. Counteas Solzberg has committed suioide m New York. The cause is attributed to love affairs.
