It is estimated that the Amarican visible supply of wheat is 67,047,000 bushete. New Zealand mutton, first quality, 3£d ; second, 3|d ; lamb, first quality, 3£. The excessive heat is depressing prices. The hemp market is ateo depressed, and no New Zealand has been sold. HARVEST PROSPECTS. THE HEAT IN ENGLAND. Received August 21, lam. Londos, August 19. The Manchester ship canal will be opened m January next. Owing to tde heat the Brigades at Aldershot parada m their shirt sleeves. The Queen has commanded Sir Evelyn Wood to appear at Osborne to report on the health of the troops. Splendid weather helps British harvesting, and grain is m excellent condition. Paris, August 19. The French harvesting is finished, and the yield is estimated at thirty-five million quarters.
