SOUTH BRITISH INSURANCE COMPANY.

[united ebess association.] Auckland, October 14. A meeting of the South British Insurance Company to-day the report previously telegraphed was adopted, declaring a ten per cent dividend. The Chairman of Directors congratulated shareholders on the success that had attended the operations of the company under the new policy, and expressed groat confidence m the future. Mr Wilson and Mr R. A, Cavr were elected directors m the place of Mr Wilson and Mr Daldy, retiring. Messrs Waymouth and Clarke were elected auditors. A proposal to reduce the number of directors from seven to six was negatived.
