In the course of a lengthy 3peech to-night, Sir Thomas Mcllwraith referred to the difference with the Bank of England, and stated that the Bank attached unnecessary importance to his words, and although he might have used other words it could not alter the facts of the case. The Bank, he declared, was only blustering, and even now had not fulfilled its promise to ccc the colony out of its difficulty.
