ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
& — . [UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, October 13. Information has reached here that Mr John Southern, formerly a New Zealand representative of Messrs Rylands and Sons, of London, was run over by a railway train at Perth, and killed on the 6th inst. Auckland, October 15. The suddon death of the Rev. Peter Mason was due to a Btroke of palalysis. He was unconscious till death. Deceased had preached occasionally, but for many years had been engaged m school teaching and had had no ministerial charge for the last twenty years.
