DISCOVERY OF GOLD MINES. , TROUBLE IN GUATEMALA. MR W. H. SMITH ON ALIENS' PRIVILEGES, SEVERE STORMS IN AMERICA. [united press association.] Geokgetown, June 6. Rich gold mines have been discovered m British Guiana and the adjacent portions of Venezuela, over which there has for some time been a dispute between the respective Governments. New York, June 6. According to reports from Central America, there is a movement m Guatemala directed towards the overthrow of President Barillas, and another revolution is feared. Influenza has reached Alaska, and hundreds are dying. St. Petersbubg, June 6. Eleven thousand Jews have emigrated from Russia m one week to England and Australia. The Berlin Committee formed to assist the refugee Jews is unable to cope with the rush. London, June 6. Mr. W. H. Smith does not believe the migration of Jews into England can be allowed, holding that such an abuse: of the privileges of aliens would be intolerable. New York, June 6.
Severe storms have been experienced m Dakota, and hundreds of cattle perished.
