St. Andubw's Church. — At a meeting held last eight to consider the plans sent m for the new St. Andrew!s Church it was resolved to accept thoss of Mr James Hislop of Duneclin. The building is of the modernised Gothic style of architecture, with an 80ft spire and a bell tower. It will bo 64ft m length, and m the transept 52ft feet m width, the nave 35ft, and the vestibule 24ft 6in. Sitting accommodation will be provided for 360 to 370 perions exclusive . of the choir, and the whole arrangements indicate a comfortable and commodious church. The roof will be slated, and a two feet bank will be erected around the building to kenp out the floods. Mr Hislop will probably be m Blenheim m a few days, and after consultation with him tenders will be called for the work of erecting the new church, which we can assure members of the congregation will be one they will have reason to be proud of. The Trustees decided to offer no objection to Miss Emily H. Siedberg, the applicant attending the usual medical course.
