[UNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, May 23. The Public Trust Commission repprt will not be ready for some weeks, as they are waiting for returns which cannot be provided under a fortnight at least. The Commissioners are much disappointed at not getting the, extension time asked for, and have forwarded a remonstrance to the Government. It is said the cost of the Commission will be £3,000 to £4,000. This amount is spent chiefly on extra assistance required to extract information which the Commissioners thought would nave been left readiness for them.
