About 3000 men will be wanted, and if enough volunteers are not procurable power will be asked to draft a certain number of militia. Each man trill be able to earn from £.5 to £6 per year. Country corps are to be abolished, but those which like may become rifle clubs by attending for four parades per year. The total extra cost is estimated at £20,000.
