At Wimbledon to-day, m shooting the first stage for the Queen's Prize, the highest English score for 7 shots at 200 yards was 34. Fenn, New South Wales, scored 31 points. July 14. The latest election returns give the state of parties as follows:—-. Conservatives 29G, Unionists 70, Gladstonites IG3, Parnellites 79. Conservative candidates secured Liberal seats for Torquay Div'sion, Devonshire ; aud Walthanistow Division, Essex. Serious riots occurred at Belfast between the Catholics and Orange - men. Many persons were wounded. San Francisco, July 12. | The Alameda, from Auckland (June 22nd), arrived here at 4 a.m. yesterday.
