In the District Court Judge Ward gave judgment against' one of fjoodiaon'Bros. for £145, m a claim made against them by Edmond, to whom whilst m drink they sold a horse for that sum, which was only worth £40. The counsel for tho plaintiff termed the transaction the simplest, commonest, and vulgarest horse swindle ever perpetrated.
